About Jim Manson
I started my 40 year EMS career as a volunteer EMT with Freeport Rural Ambulance. After a move to Colorado, I worked for a private 911 ambulance provider and spent the last 27 years with the City of Denver's Paramedic Division- retiring in 2015 at the rank of Assistant Chief Paramedic of Education and Training. During my time at the Paramedic Division, I served as a street paramedic, senior paramedic/field trainer, Operations Supervisor, and Director of the Denver Health Paramedic School.
My family and I are now back in my hometown of Freeport, Illinois. I spend my time with family, friends, and using my experience to help solve problems that build a more resilient community.
